Terms of service

These terms explain how Ace the Role access, Practice Credits, AI feedback, user responsibilities, and EU consumer rights work when you use the service.

Article 1

Provider and scope

Ace the Role is the app provided under the public business name QTS One; the legal operator for this service is Cecilia Rodica Bacalu-Cerna. These terms apply when you visit Ace the Role, create an account, buy or redeem Practice Credits, use a 90-day prep pass, create Practice Sessions, submit Practice Answers, receive Trusted Grades, or contact support. For account, billing, or legal-service questions, email support@acetherole.com. Current legal operator and public address details are listed in the Impressum.

Article 2

What Ace the Role provides

Ace the Role is an interview-preparation service. It uses Role-Specific Paths, Published Content from the Live Preparation Catalog, and Reference-Backed AI Feedback to help you practice likely question patterns and improve Interview Readiness. Ace the Role does not guarantee job offers, interview invitations, exam results, employer decisions, or exact coverage of any employer's interview process.

Article 3

Accounts and access

You are responsible for using your own account, keeping sign-in links and sessions private, and making sure the information you provide is accurate. Do not share access in a way that bypasses quotas, billing, abuse controls, or security protections. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact support promptly.

Article 4

AI feedback and user judgment

Ace the Role clearly uses AI-assisted grading and coaching. We design Trusted Grades and feedback to follow best-practice safeguards, including question context, reference material, rubric guidance, validation metadata, and provider monitoring, so grading is as accurate and useful as we can make it. AI can still produce incomplete, inaccurate, or hallucinated feedback. If a grade looks wrong, use the bug report button or the feedback prompt shown after grading so we can investigate, improve the experience, and keep the service useful for everyone.

Article 5

Responsible use

Do not use Ace the Role for unlawful activity, harassment, credential theft, malware, vulnerability exploitation, service disruption, spam, automated scraping, model probing, reverse engineering, or attempts to avoid rate limits. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, regulated health information, payment card data, employer-confidential material, or other sensitive information that is not needed for interview practice.

Article 6

Payments, credits, and passes

Stripe provides payment processing for checkout, payment methods, billing portal access, and any approved refund transaction. Eligible payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments / Link as merchant of record where supported. Ace the Role is not a payment processor and does not store full card numbers. Practice Credits can be used for AI-graded Practice Answers. Credits are not currency, not tradable, not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and usable only for Ace the Role services. Credits purchased before 2027-01-01 do not expire; credits purchased on or after 2027-01-01 expire after 12 months. This policy is informational before 2027; current balances are not reduced by an expiry process. The 90-day prep pass is a one-time payment for fixed-duration access. No recurring subscription. It provides up to 100 AI-graded answers per day, subject to abuse controls and service availability. Prices, taxes, and payment details are shown at checkout.

Article 7

EU cancellation and refund rights

If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. For distance contracts, this can include a 14-day withdrawal right, but refunds may be reduced or unavailable where immediate digital access has begun, used Practice Credits or pass capacity have already been consumed, or another legal exception applies with the required consent and acknowledgement. Contact support@acetherole.com for withdrawal or refund requests; we will assess requests against unused access, consumed service, Stripe payment status, and mandatory law. Any approved refund is processed through Stripe.

Article 8

Your Practice Answers and Ace the Role content

You keep the rights you have in your Practice Answers. You allow Ace the Role to process them as needed to provide grading, feedback, progress, support, security, and reliability features. Ace the Role and its licensors keep ownership of the Preparation Architecture, Question Content, Role Topic Weights, interface, software, trademarks, and other service materials. You may use Ace the Role content for personal interview preparation, not for copying the service, reselling question sets, or building a competing question bank.

Article 9

Privacy and providers

Personal data handling is explained in the privacy notice, and legal operator details are listed in the Impressum. When you request grading, Ace the Role may send relevant question context, reference material, and your Practice Answer to configured AI grading providers so they can produce Reference-Backed AI Feedback. Security practices are summarized on security.

Article 10

Service changes and availability

Ace the Role may update the product, Live Preparation Catalog, Published Content, quotas, AI providers, security controls, and pricing to improve reliability, content quality, legal compliance, or business operations. We try to avoid unnecessary disruption to paid access. If a change materially reduces paid access you already bought, contact support so we can review a reasonable remedy where required by law.

Article 11

Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when needed to protect users, payment integrity, service security, or legal compliance, including for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. When practical, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact support. You can stop using Ace the Role at any time and may request Practice Data Deletion as described in the privacy notice.

Article 12

Liability, complaints, and changes

Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights where the law does not allow that limitation, including rights for non-conforming digital services. To the extent permitted by law, Ace the Role is not responsible for indirect losses, hiring outcomes, third-party platform decisions, or losses caused by misuse of the service. Send complaints to support@acetherole.com. Applicable national consumer redress channels may be available where required by law. We may update these terms, and material changes will apply prospectively unless a different rule is required by law.

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page. Effective date: 28 May 2026.
